Show me a short video about this.

The role of advisors
Advisors are a vital part of the Last Messages Club process. They are the people who will notify us of your death and trigger your messages to be sent. Without at least two confirmed advisors we will not be able to send your messages.

How many do you need?
You must have at least two advisors but we recommend that you nominate three, just in case one of them is not available to confirm your death when the time comes.

Choosing your advisors
You can choose anyone to be an advisor. They do not have to be a member of the Last Messages Club. You might choose family members, close friends, a solicitor or an employer. Each advisor will need to accept the role before they are able to report and confirm your death.

Preparing your advisors
It’s a good idea to discuss the Last Messages Club with a potential advisor before you nominate them. You’ll be able to tell them about the role and what they will need to do when the time comes. You can also ask them to keep an eye out for the email we will be sending them when you add them to our system. (You could also ask them to put our email address

the-team@lastmessagesclub.com

in their address book so that our emails don’t get caught in their spam filter.)

Changing your advisors
Paid-up members [Gold members or Silver Members with an up to date subscription] can replace their advisors at any time. Log in to your secure vault and go to the ‘Advisors’ section.

Keeping in touch with your advisors
The Last Messages Club emails all Advisors at a frequency chosen by the member to maintain contact and to request they confirm their willingness to continue in the role. If we do not hear back from an Advisor we will email them again and, if that fails, email the member to report the problem. The member may then update the contact details or replace the Advisor. It is in the member's interest to maintain a list of three active and willing Advisors.
