What you can attach to messages
You can attach most documents that you can attach to normal emails: word processor files like Word files, photos, videos and sound files and spreadsheets. For added security you might want to encrypt them first (although we also encrypt them after you have uploaded them to our secure server). The maximum size of file that you can attach is 20MB but note that many email providers block their customers from receiving very large files. This might prevent your recipients from receiving your files.

Attaching files
To attach a file to one or more of your messages you first need to upload it (transfer it from your computer) to our secure server where it will be encrypted for your security.

To upload a file, log in to your secure vault and click on the ‘Files’ tab. Browse and choose the file to upload from your computer and give it a description (if you want – this is optional).

Please contact us if you are having any difficulty uploading a file.

When you have uploaded the file click on the ‘messages’ tab and create a new message or view an existing message. You will see a list of all your available files in the right-hand side of the page. Click 'add' to attach a file to the message. You can attach the same file to more than one message and many attachments to each message.

You can also use this facility to safely store important documents for your own use.
