The cancellation window is an important part of the process that ensures your emails are not sent to your recipients too early. You choose the length of the cancellation window. It can be any duration from 3 to 30 days – you choose the length of time in your account profile.
The cancellation window starts when one of your advisors first notifies us of your death. At this point we send an email (and an SMS/text messages if possible) to your address and to all of your advisors advising that you have been reported dead. If there has been a misunderstanding both you and your advisors have until the end of the cancellation window to log in and stop the message sending process.
At the end of the cancellation window, assuming at least two of your advisors have confirmed your death, and assuming no one has cancelled the process, we will start delivery of your messages according to your schedule.
