Our ingenious process ensures that your messages are only sent at the time that you choose. Here’s how it works.
The process will begin when one of your advisors logs in to the Last Messages Club website and reports your death. This will trigger emails (and text message / SMS) to be sent to your other advisors asking them to visit the site and confirm that this is correct. We also send an email (and text message) to you so you will always know if the process has been triggered in error.
When two or more of your advisors have confirmed your death we will then wait until the end of a period of time you choose in your personal profile (the 'cancellation window') before we schedule your Last Messages to be sent. You and any of your advisors can log into Last Messages Club at any time during the cancellation window to report that you are still alive and prevent your messages being sent.
At the end of the cancellation window we will start sending emails to your recipients according to the schedule that you chose when you created the messages. This will either be immediately or on a date (set by you) sometime in the future.
We don’t send your actual Last Messages to your recipients. Instead, we send them a polite email that invites them to visit the Last Messages Club to collect their message.
Multiple attempts are made to deliver your message if there is no response from a recipient.
Our ingenious process relies on email communications to work so an incorrect email address is the most likely problem. It is really important that you keep your advisors’ and recipients’ details up-to-date.
