It’s very easy to cancel your membership. Your subscription is handled by PayPal and you are in control of these payments. We cannot do this for you.
When you cancel the annual subscription of a silver membership your Last Messages are still held securely by us and will be released according to your schedule. Unlike some other services, we do not require you to maintain annual payments in order for your messages to be sent. If you choose to cancel your subscription, it only means that you will no longer be able to edit your messages, recipients and attachments. (If you later decide that you do need to make changes, you can restart your subscription at any time for a small admin fee.)
When you cancel a free trial, after a warning, we destroy all the data that you added to your secure vault. We also destroy the ‘encryption key’, which means that the data can never be recovered.
For your additional security you may also wish to delete records of any messages, attachments, advisors and recipients. Once all data has been deleted the 'Resign' button appears on the Personal Profile page. Use this to ensure all your data is put beyond use.
