A recipient can be anybody with an email address to whom you want to send a message after you die.
How many recipients can I have?
You can have up to 100 recipients and you can send more than one message to each. (You might want to send different messages to them at different times – significant birthdays, for example.)
What will recipients receive?
When your advisors have confirmed that you have died we will attempt to deliver your messages. We don’t send the actual messages to your recipients – instead, we send them an email inviting them to visit the Last Messages Club to pick up their messages. This is to allow them an opportunity to prepare themselves for what is likely to be an emotional event. See an example of this email
Recipients will only be able to access the messages that you have addressed to them specifically and been released by the system at the times you specify. There is no way that a recipient will be able to read anyone else’s messages or any messages not yet released.
Sending the same message to multiple recipients
Each message is addressed to one recipient. If you want to send the same message to more than one recipient it’s easy to create a copy of an existing message.
